What fishing experience do I need for these charters?
Our charters welcome anglers of all experience levels. Whether you're a seasoned sport fisher or trying deep-sea fishing for the first time, our experienced crew will provide guidance and assistance throughout your trip. We handle all rigging and fish management, so you can focus on enjoying the experience.
What should I bring on a fishing charter?
We recommend bringing sunscreen, a hat, sunglasses, comfortable clothing suitable for marine conditions, and any personal medications. All fishing equipment, tackle, bait, and refreshments are provided. For multi-day expeditions, we'll send you a detailed packing list upon booking confirmation.
What species can we target in the South China Sea?
The South China Sea offers diverse fishing opportunities. In deep water, we target sailfish, marlin, wahoo, dorado, and various tuna species. Reef fishing produces grouper, snapper, barramundi, and other bottom-dwelling species. Seasonal patterns influence which species are most active, and our captains adjust tactics accordingly.
How far in advance should I book?
We recommend booking at least two to three weeks in advance, particularly for multi-day expeditions and during peak fishing seasons. This allows us to secure the best dates for optimal fishing conditions and make necessary arrangements for accommodations and transfers. However, we can sometimes accommodate shorter notice bookings depending on availability.
What is your cancellation and weather policy?
Safety is our priority. If weather conditions are unsuitable for fishing, we will work with you to reschedule your trip or provide a full refund. For client cancellations, we require at least 72 hours notice for half-day charters and one week notice for multi-day expeditions to receive a full refund. Can I keep the fish I catch?
Yes, you may keep your catch within sustainable limits. We practice responsible fishing and follow size and bag limits to protect marine resources. For multi-day expeditions, we can arrange for your catch to be professionally prepared and include it in your meals. We also encourage catch-and-release for certain trophy species to help maintain healthy fish populations.
